MOORE: Everyone in B&H has a reason to be skeptic

The Head of the OSCE mission in B&H, Jonathan Moore considers that the politicians in B&H realized that the voters are frustrated because of the economic situation and instability in the country.

He stated that in Sarajevo at yesterday’s session of the KRUG 99 while discussing about “How to unblock the Euro-Atlantic path in B&H”.

He emphasized that people in B&H are interested only in conditions of living, how to get employment and raise a family.

“Everyone in B&H has a reason to be skeptic. But the situation is different than 4 years ago because the political leaders have will to form authority in B&H quicker than before.” – stated Moore.

“It’s up to the voters to decide whether some politicians fulfilled their expectations or not.” – he added.

“Half of the population had chosen its leaders during the recent elections but I am not here to tell you who caused this situation and who didn’t.” – he also added.

Moore pointed out that the OSCE Mission’s priority is to lead B&H towards membership at the EU and the NATO and that neighbor countries did a lot on that path.

“There are many unsatisfied people in B&H. I had a chance to see that. Those people are not unhappy because of the floods but frustrated because of lack of work.” – he said.

Moore concluded that it’s clear why the EU has such high standards and that their doors are open for new candidates.
